Description:
Battle of the Titans, by Dann_Boeing, is set in the same alternate-reality that a number of his other maps have been set in, the Realm of Chaos. From what I understand, though, this is a significantly larger map and the sides are an amalgam of the most powerful characters from his previous maps (ergo "Titans"). It has a huge area for you to explore, and honestly, it's probably going to take a couple playthroughs to get to know the whole map very well. Additionally, you would be advised to try and investigate the "locked" Madness, Inc. facility (any mode other than CTF), as there are a few surprises tucked into it.
To be honest, the only map by Dann I'd played before was his Hypori map. Reason being that I'm not a huge fan of completely over-the-top sides and the somewhat comical settings I see. Despite this, I was able to find enjoyment in Battle of the Titans, if for no other reason than that it was put together exceptionally well and creatively.
Dann does an excellent job of making an environment the player feels immersed in (albeit an absolutely ludicrous one); also, he does an excellent job of using the map's space and making it into a detailed and varied environment.
The sides are probably the weakest part of the map, since basically all they are is super-destructive versions of a lot of weapons. That being said, there is some quality .odf work in there, and the sides are certainly not weak compared to sides from a lot of other maps. I also thought the skin to the "Seriously Evil Dude" was pretty hilarious.
If you're a fan of Dann's maps or just crazy maps in general, then I have no doubt you'll enjoy this.

Map Description:
Deep in the Realm of Chaos, the most powerful beings from across the universe have come to fight each other in the ultimate deathmatch to decide who is on top. This map, covers a different and much larger area of the Realm of Chaos than it's predicessor. The map is filled with diverse environments all clashing in on one another, ranging from two large volcanoes, desolate fields and channels of lava, snowy hills, and a forest. Old Temples and buildings of unknown origin are scattered across the terrain, one being an Arena of Doom featuring a death pit with spinning platforms on the surface. Also found on the map are small industrial complexes belonging to Madness Inc. one of which holds several secrets.

Other Features:
I made gcw XL a real challenge for players, and you really have to try hard to win for your team. Like in all my maps, I've relocalized almost everything such as Awards and F5-12 Online Chats. On this Map However, I've also put in some funny custom "tips" that appear on the loading screen. I also have some custom music with songs from my favorite contemporary bands including Oasis, The White Stripes, Smash Mouth, and Radiohead.
Bugs/Issues: Terrain Textures are a bit glitchy, cw XL is a bit uneven for some reason and it's very hard to win as Good Guys, this may be true slightly for gcw XL but its hard to tell since this mode is so challenging for both sides. Visual effects, such as rocket trails or explosions, will disappear occasionally in most modes and a lot during the XL modes, all depending on your computer's visual memory.
Warning: This map is probably my most chaotic map, and some modes may be a little too intense for some players. For these players I suggest playing the CTF, and Assault modes.
Install Instructions:
Simply run the installer and install the map to the *Star Wars Battlefront IIGameDataaddonDAN" directory. Installation should take a few minutes. The default directory is C:Program FilesLucasartsStar Wars Battlefront IIGameDataaddonDAN.
Make sure you know where your Star Wars Battlefront II Folder is and that you have enough space (404MB) on your computer before you install. Once Installed, the map should appear on the instant action and multiplayer game menus.
To uninstall the map, simply remove the 404 folder from addon.
