This mod is a LVL side replacement pack. Inside are two side files that when installed with OVERWRITE the default team files with the new units. Both the CIS and Republic are included into this mod, and the GCW era will follow shorty in a GCW Expansion.

_Features_
This mod is a LVL side replacement pack. Inside are two side files that when installed with OVERWRITE the default team files with the new units. Both the CIS and Republic are included into this mod, and the GCW era will follow shorty in a GCW Expansion.

*Trooper --> Increased health for increased survivability
*ARC Trooper --> Increased health, removed mines, replaced rocket with beam cannon, replaced pistol with rifle.
*Pilot --> Altered texture, rifle instead of pistol
*Sniper --> Replaced pistol with rifle, altered texture
*Jet Trooper --> Unlimited fuel, faster movement, increased health, replaced EMP launcher with rifle.
~CIS~
*SuperBattleDroid --> Increased health for increased survivability
*AssaultDroid --> Increased health, removed mines, replaced rocket with beam cannon, replaced pistol with rifle.
*Pilot --> Replaced pistol with rifle, altered texture
*Sniper --> Replaced pistol with rifle
*Droideka --> Altered shield for increased effectiveness

This mod WILL replace your default teams... if you play online often be sure to make backups of your SIDE files before installing to ensure you don't have to uninstall and reinstall.

Posts: 7 | With all due respect to the opinions of others, but these "This is the greatest mod I've ever seen" comments are REALLY becoming ill-placed (see a few comments above) !
This is definitely NOT one of the greatest mods I've ever seen.
I loved the slight increase in Jet Trooper speed. The new Ray Weapon (replacing rockets) was pretty cool, too, but was conditional. I mean, the beam would do heavy(ish) damage when focused on the targer WITHOUT any movement on your part, thus concentrating the beam. Otherwise, you could strafe with a laser beam cutting through several enemies for minimal damage each.
Robbing the Rocketry Units of thier mines, though, is pointless, as the grenade count wasn't even increased to compensate for the loss. Replacing the EMP launcher with a standard issue blaster rifle is just plain silly, too.
I gave it several tries, now I'm glad to delete it for good.
Some REALLY cool elements, too, in here... but too many drawbacks. |

I think this mod works well, although I think the Rocket Launchers should've been kept, and if not given to the Pilot to replace the Bolt Caster and the Grenade Launcher. I honestly hate the Grenade Launcher... it's useful, but it's kind of boring.
I haven't downloaded yet, but technically I have because I had it another time but I uninstalled Battlefront from boredom... but now that I decided to bring BF back, I'm gonna get this again!!! And, I WOULD like to see a version for GCW/
