fiodis Joined: January 24th, 2008 Posts: 359 | Vonfrank, I am Fiodis from GT forums. Recently, Yodakid released his plans for a Medieval-style mappack. When I read his post, I knew the time had come to unveil an ambition of mine: A LotR-to-SWBF2 Era Conversion. I know this map is for BF1 (and, from the pic, very nicely done). Still, BF1 and BF2 props and assets are usually interchangeable, so I'd like to ask this:
Could I possibly use some of those assets in a Helm's Deep map for the conversion? All credit to you, of course. Those walkways look amazing
BTW, the URL for Yodakid's "Medieval Ages" topic on GT. My LotR-plan is briefly outlined in the second post.

I have a suggestion though if you plan on making a 2nd version. It would be nice if the kill count was even, and reduced. 1250 versus 1000 is too high. 300 vs. 300 would be nice.
And also, I think it would be better if both sides had inside command posts at the start, and leave a nuetral CP outside, at the bottom of the ramp that each side tries to take.
Anyway, just my opinion. Thx for making it and sharing. |

If the reinforcment count was only 300, the battle would last 30 seconds! Don't forget, I have added 50 on 75 ai on the map at once. With that many you need a higher reinforcment count. |

fiodis Joined: January 24th, 2008 Posts: 359 | Eh....the exact outlines of my project are somewhat hazy. It's more like Yodakid decided to make a Medieval Mappack and I, simultaneously, decided to make a LotR Conversion, so we more or less blended the two to some degree....
Ty, this map is about Helm's Deep. Narnia's just...way out there.... Kinda like those people that ask PLZ HELP ME WANT TO MOD in a comment about some released assets.... IDK why, but that always annoyed me. I mean, you want to mod, no one's gonna explain it to you in comments.....
