Description:
This is version 2 of the recently uploaded Jedi Mod. I think it boasts a pretty hefty filesize still, but the changes seem to address a few things a lot of people wanted to see fixed.
The four playables as usual:
CIS - Count Dooku
Empire - Darth vader
Rebels - Luke Skywalker
Republic - Mace Windu
Your weapons are your Lightsaber, lightsaber block and a force power. You have the same jetpack abilities as the jet trooper, so you can 'fly' for a limited amount of time(I think having darktrooper effect for an enhanced jump would be more suitable) and, what most people wanted: Death. By popular demand you can now die when playing Jedi.
If you really liked the first mod and are insistent on killable jedi then this may be worth the download.

Jedi-Mod Readme:
Backup your GameData\Data\_LVL_PC\SIDE folder, or the faction files, all, cis,imp and rep in it.
Extract the Jedi-mod file into your GameData\Data\_LVL_PC\SIDE folder.
The features in the mod is:
* You can play as one of the four jedis/siths of the 4 factions. CIS has Count Dooku, The Empire has Darth Vader,
The Rebels has Luke Skywalker, and the Republic has Mace Windu.
* You have three weapons, your lightsaber, a saberblock and the Force.
* You have a jetpack, with the same powers as the Jet Trooper from The Repuclic.

Posts: 273 | Thsi is AWESOME! You fixed most of the problems that were stated! You can die now, and an awesome feature is that you can block shots as a primary weapon! Only problem is you can still see fire coming out of their backs with the foce jump, but it is a minor detail! Awesome job, I've been waiting a while for this!

Posts: 14 | You can die if you are damaged hard, fx by a Droedika or another Jedi/Sith!
If youre only get a few damage you heal up your self. But of course you die often.
And you don't need the first version to use the second!

Posts: 11 | Hmm it seems that the game crashes with this mod, right after the map finish loading. Luckily I've made a backup or I'd be forced to reinstall the game.
Please find a way to fix it up! |

By the way, don't u guys think there are too many Vaders and Lukes on the battle? Maybe the special class should be replaced, instead of the laser troopers one  |

Posts: 4 | Out of many Jedi mods yours comes out on top! However, there is always room for improvement. The force powers and saber block makes this a unique Mod, but as I said, theres still much to build upon. Firstly, as you stated, I definately agree with the fact that the "force jump" should be similar to the Dark Trooper's jet pack, (this has been done before) without the fire showing! Delta 57 Dash's Elite Sides mod 2.0 uses this with amazing effect. And also in Elite Sides there is enhanced speeds in the Clone and CIS army heroes (which are playable).
Also, make the playable heroes take place of the Sniper classes instead of the Regular Infantry, as Infantry is abundant in most battles and seeing 20 Luke Skywalkers running around isn't as fun! All-in-all, this was a great mod, which I hope you update, please consider some of my suggestions and come out with something even better!

Posts: 3 | this is a nice mod but you need to fix it so when your playing by urself that you can disable it so that the ai bots cant use the jedi or you get way toomany multi jedi running around not enough of soldiers , or change it so the force cant be used on teammates but all in all great mod |

Posts: 3 | ok when you download it save it to your desktop in a newfolder so you know where it is at , unzip it to the same folder you saved your download ,now bring up the programfiles in another window ok c rogram;lucasarts ;battlefront;gamedata;data;lvl_pc;side click on the following inorder to bring up each folder you want the side folder that's where you drag and drop all the .lvl programs from ur unzipped jedi folder it'll say if you want to replace each program you drop in and click yes and whala your done its simple as 123 yeah you cant unzipp it directly to the side folder or it wont replace each of the .lvl pprograms i had to drag and drop each one manuely . hope this helps out . |

Can you tell me how to deflect with the other characters and saberblock.

Posts: 1 | Can anyone explain this to me(someone like superdrezs or his friends who make this mod);I extract files in GameData´s folder SIDE and run the game.Chose planet and map and just after the map loads,game has crushed.Screen goes black and it there is window with ½Send Error Report½ and ½Don´t Send½.Can anyone tell me how to fix this,maybe with some file or something,please.I whould really like to try this mod |
