Description:

This mod, by Glitch25, is a simple sides replacement mod that changes the CIS, heroes and all, into predominantly battle droids.

Oookay, sure. We'll work with that.

Strangely enough, many of the classes are watered down (removing useful things like rocket launchers, detpacks, and fusion cutters) to be more uniform. However, more strange than that is the change of the CIS heroes to use a battle droid mesh. Why? Who knows - I suppose it's an interesting thing to see, but I wish that in the transfer the author had taken the time to make sure the animations were correct. As they are now, they share a basepose with the original models and consequently the droids look like they're split at certain joints.

Also, the Grievous hero is completely messed up. Okay - I get it, the goal is to replace the heroes with battle droid versions. But why make the change if you're simply going to break something that is working? If you can't make the change right, either leave it alone or replace it with something completely different (like, I don't know, a hero with any one of the other sets of human animations).

All in all, it's a bit of a strange mod - which I'd be fine with, but it doesn't seem very well thought-through. I'd like to see a bit more polish, even if the mod itself is a little kooky.

	Readme File: INSTALLATION 1) Go to C:Program FilesStar Wars Battlefront IIGameDataDATA_LVL_PCSIDE and backup cis.lvl and cishell.lvl 2) copy the cis.lvl and cishell.lvl files from the folder that was extracted from the download. 3) Paste the copied files in Star Wars Battlefront IIGameDataDATA_LVL_PCSIDE INFO This mod changes the classes, Droid Marine, Engineer Droid, Assault Droid, Assassin Droid, Darth Maul, General Grievous, and Count Dooku. They all now use the basic Battle Droid Skin -Droid Marine Changes Blaster pistol instead of rocket launcher -Engineer Droid Changes Blaster pistol instead of fusion cutter Thermal Detonators instead of detpacks -Assault Droid Changes Blaster Rifle instead of Rocket Launcher No Mines -Assassin Droid Changes Mines instead of deployable turrets -Darth maul Now has the voice of a battle droid Only has lightsaber toss -Count Dooku Now has the voice of a battle droid Only has force lightning BUGS -General Grievous* I do not reccomend using this character, only his secondary attacks work. I think this was because I used Aayla Secura's animation because Grievous's body is too much different from the droids bodies. -For the droid heros the head is offset by a bit and the arm joints are not connected Contact me at glitch025@gmail.com if you want to remake this mod, I don't mind its current state. The only reason I decided to submit it as it is was because I wanted to see what the community thought of the mod. Yes, I know the droid replacements for the jedi are a bit messed up but I'm new to modding and I haven't figured out how to fix those errors yet.

It took me 4 or 5 tries before I got it to where it is now. Thanks for finally getting it up, I'll continue to learn more about the mod process and hopefully figure out how to fix those errors.

@Mav - Thanks for the review, I know I have a lot to work on still. New CIS v1.0 is where I left off when creating the mod. Please take that into consideration.
