Thoughts:
Not a huge fan of the all-black "here let me turn down the saturation and brightness" textures. The side is largely the same as the stock side, although the commander class is changed from the Magnaguard to a mirror of the clone commander. This is too bad, because I like the Magnaguard more, and another mirror class doesn't feel necessary. It also has a second autoturret available (i.e. its ammo is '2'), but only one can be placed at a time - it feels like I should be able to place two at a time.

I didn't simply turn down the saturation...I spent at least 30 minutes on each tga file, adding scratches, dust, and little details you wouldn't notice without looking closely at the skin.

I know, and perhaps the phrasing was a little unfair. The appearance that the textures give off (regardless of detail) is that they've simply been darkened - a neat way to make your droids stand out with darker textures (and to put a point on you having changed them) would be to make small modifications to the meshes, like extra antennae, or extra packs, glow-y bits, etc.

Not a huge fan of the all-black "here let me turn down the saturation and brightness" textures" <--- It is poorly phrased because it sounds kinda like your suggesting he burly didn't any work it. Ive been playing with this mod and I can see the patches of scratches and markings, something that did take him time to do, not just toning down saturation. Personally for me it looks really cool, though everyone has a different cup of tea.
