Woooooah.. dang I need to calm down. I mean for crying out loud, the XBOX gets COOL NEW content, and we get diddly crap. I know as a Staff member I shouldn't really complain, but dang dude! And where's free camera? I want that too. I wanna film a freakin movie in my game. And cant cause the feature isnt freakin out yet. And I dont wanna do a crappy behind my character running around going "OOH I CAN KILL BOTS WOO" I wanna do like a music vid on space combat. Kinda like how I filmed my Battle on Naboo film. Dang I need to take a chill pill or something, I guess Im just really freakin tired. Sorry. Im just really *****ed. 
Try not to cheer me up, it'll only get worse. Just best if people will just leave me alone for a couple of days. It's like im goin freakin mental. Anyway, I hope LucasArts doesnt freakin disappoint us anymore in the future. I was ok with them before, but Im starting to lose all hope. :/ I mean LCD screen? WHAT the crap! Maybe I was better off getting the freakin XBOX version! And last but not least, we should keep praying for the mod tools to come out. Im still on the verge of going over to California and beating the crap out of them so they can release it. Lmao

Posts: 311 | No. The xbox version is only compatible with xbox and can only be downloaded through xbox live. And you have t pay for it. |

I agree w/clonewarrior. All the games lucasarts make now are for lame x-box and x-box 360 and ps2. They forgot us with Star Wars Episode 3 the video game and are now giving preferntial treatment to those rich enough to own an x-box. communists. |

3rd, Only a modder can get the Rhen Var map to work (using the mod tools). |

And COMADON... as far as Rhen Var goes, leave it alone, I've got Rhen Var and alot of other maps, I just got them from the map section under downloads.And yes, Rhen Var is awsome in BF2.
Download them from there, create a folder in
Program Files/Lucas/BF2/Gamedata/ "AddOns"
AND NOT IN LEVEL PC, that does hold the levels but thats for the GAME's levels, not added levels... |

First off you dont go into your game and make a server to do it if you didnt know. Second you cant play mod maps(At least I think) And last I cant get the banned words to work I type them in like I do with the announcements then I say them exactly how I did in the thing and they dont show! If you dont understand please don't ask me or anyone else unless they know it completely. Im 10 and im frankly not good at explaining things. |

Posts: 14 | People, this just lets you make servers on BattleFront 2, the way they make servers like ''Jedi Battle Arena'' and ''[WGO]Hero Assault'' and etc, but this isn't going to be the easiest in the world to figure out, I can figure it out, and I am younger than a lot of you, also, you need to know atleast where to put files and things like that before you can even THINK about trying to download and install this. For those of you that are like this if you can succesfully make an addon folder, download, and install maps, you can do this, just use your brain, getting the Admin to work is kind of tough, (besides making him talk ingame) it's just kind of hard to add certain curse words that are banned. So please, stop with the comments saying, IT DOESN'T WORK, and IT IS TOO HARD, look at it, talk to one of your techno buddies, e-mail LucasArts about it (if you are really stuck). Or just figure it out yourself. |

Posts: 2 | Posts 32, 33, and 38 made me laugh harder than I have in a long time. You people are necro'ing a thread from *4 years ago* and telling someone that a map isn't a big deal, it's in the mods, etc. It *was* a big deal, there *were* no mods, and you should really learn to look at post dates.
And I'm getting post 39 put on my tombstone or something, because it's a stone classic:

Posts: 2 | I have successfully installed this and have had no trouble creating a server, making an admin account, etc., but I cannot figure out how to enable auto-announcing nor how to set up banned words. Specifically, I have read that, for both areas, the text in the initial .cfg file must be deleted, and the words for the announcements then inserted, one announcement per line. I have done this, but the Admin on the server still only announces the default message of "This server is run by... from blackbagops.com" or whatever it is. Similarly, I type in the banned words with the @, &, or ! in front, but to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
