ULTIMATE CLONE WARS WEAPONS MOD (3.0) - File Description  


Description:
awlogue is back today with an update to his previous mod, which was a relatively small side mod for the Republic. This one expands upon it somewhat by making some small changes to the Republic and adding in some changes to the CIS.

The new sides are basically replications of each other, using most of the same concepts for each unit. The soldier units all have fast-firing weapons, the sniper rifles are all hyperfast and very accurate, rockets are faster and shoot more, and jetpacks are infinite. The individual differences between the sides are pretty low, since both now have jetpack units (which was really the only distinguishing factor). Though it lacks a bit in originality, it's a pretty fun little mod to play around with and is at least moderately well balanced, so give it a download if you're bored and looking to play some SP Battlefront.

This is a Clone Wars mod file by awlogue
To install: copy the "rep.lvl" and "cis.lvl" files to C(or install drive):Program filesLucasArtsStar Wars BattlefrontGamedataData_LVL_PCSIDE
It is highly recommended that you back up the original "rep.lvl" and "cis.lvl" files!!!!
This has no known bugs

--Fully automatic sniper rifle @ 10 rounds/second; with no kick, scope, and pinpoint accuracy
--75 round mags
--An automatic commando pistol, standard recharge, and fast rate of fire.

--Chaingun @ 20 RPS, standard blaster rifle damage.
--Grey armor

-Clone Sharpshooter
--Same rifle as the jet trooper

-Arc Trooper
--2 round burst rocket launcher

ah, the new guns look like the old guns. no visual gun change whatsoever. and, the spawn screen has no modifications to the equipment list.

next time, spend more time on that.

and, at least i have screenshots to criticize. nice... smile

The readme does not specify what so ever that this mod would change the models of the weapons. And at least it seems the stock localization fits the new weapons as according to their descriptions, also found in the readme. You sure do nonsensically complain a lot for someone who does not mod either game...

To JasonBall: I wasn't planning on changing the weapon models themselves, but I may end up importing the chaingun model from battlefront II for that. Also, I am working on relocalizing them, to have more appropriate names.

New mods coming out soon. Shotgun type and special tracer weapons for the CIS. About the localization, I cannot. It would only localize for a particular level, and since my mods don't do that, it won't happen. Any comments, recommendation, reply here or at computergeek97@gmail.com
